CERAMIC TILE STRIPPER
Unlike the random orbit-type tile stripper machines currently on the market, the ceramic tile stripper provides a direct-impulse force, which supplies adequate power to break through the high bond strengths of today�s mastics, glues and thin-set materials. Designed to enhance maneuverability, control and visibility, the ceramic tile stripper unique configuration allows users to operate electric-powered breakers in an upright position, which helps increase productivity while reducing strain on operators� knees and lower backs.

FLOOR MACHINE ATTACHMENT- 17" CARBIDE GRINDING DISC
The carbide grinding disc features tungsten carbide chips electroplated to the metal disc. It is designed for aggressive removal of glues, backings, paints, and coatings.

FLOOR MACHINE ATTACHMENT- 17" CARBIDE SCRAPER
The 17" carbide scraper attachment has twelve 8 sided carbide chips. It is designed to remove thin set mortar and other brittle floor coatings.

FLOOR MACHINE ATTACHMENT- 17" DIAMOND GRINDING HEAD
The 17" diamond grinding head is made with 12 carbide hexpins embedded with diamond chips. Typical applications include grinding and sanding concrete surfaces.

FLOOR MACHINE ATTACHMENT- 17" GRINDING STONE HEAD
The 17" grinding stone attachment holds 4-5 replaceable coarse grinding stones. It can be used for light finish grinding of uneven concrete.

FLOOR MACHINE ATTACHMENT- 17" MASTIC REMOVER
The mastic removal tool is used with a 17" floor machine. Users should wet the floor then use the attachment to remove mastic. Works best when moved slowly, and mastic should be removed in several passes rather than all at once.

FLOOR MACHINE ATTACHMENT- 17" SANDPAPER HEAD
Generally used for surface preparation and sanding, the 17" sandpaper attachment allows the user to cover large areas quickly. Sandpaper is available in 20, 36, and 80 grit.

FLOOR MACHINE ATTACHMENT- 17" SCARIFIER WITH CARBIDE CHIPS
The 17" scarifier with carbide chips is for removal of floor coatings less than the thickness of 2 business cards. This aggressive attachment must be started in a clear area of the floor and eased forward into the area to be cleared.

FLOOR MACHINE ATTACHMENT- 17" TURBO CUPS
The turbo cup attachment is for applications where abrasive grains are more effective than scraping and can be used to remove paint, dirt, grease, etc. It can be used for cleanup after thicker coatings have been mostly removed, and can also lightly scarify the concrete to allow for better bonding with glues or overlays.

FLOOR GRINDER, ELECTRIC
This electric powered surface grinder is outfitted with 6 carbide teeth set at an angle to the floor beneath. It is generally used to remove floor coatings such as glue or mastic left behind after a previous floor was removed. The weight of the unit and angle of the teeth make it an aggressive solution for removing these type of coatings.

FLOOR SCALER, AIR
The air floor scaler has steel construction and is a hand operated pneumatic powered air tools designed for a wide variety of surface preparation projects. Work fast and easy for removing vinyl and ceramic tiles, carpet adhesives and material build-ups from floors and walls. Small size and high power output make them useful for chipping away concrete and asphalt or removing slag and scale materials on industrial and marine job sites. 55-1/2 inch overall length without accessory tool.

FLOOR SCALER, MANUAL
Steel construction, manually powered, hand operated, designed for a wide variety of surface preparation projects including tile removal, glue removal, sheetrock mud removal, and more. HEAT GUN
The heat gun has an insulated nozzle provides a cool exterior temperature, while the padded adjustable stand can be positioned for any work angle. The heat gun provides a maximum temperature of 750 to 1,000 degrees F and a maximum air volume of 23 cubic feet per minute. Multiple uses: strip paint, shrink tubing or packaging, heat liquids, loosen fittings, soften caulking, surface finishes, or thaw pipes.

SHOT BLASTER
The shot blaster projects steel shot against a flooring surface and is an aggressive way to remove coatings or glue from a floor. The shot blaster has a 8" blast pattern and has the capability of 1/8" depth removal in one pass. The unit is portable, light weight, cleans and profiles in one easy step. Applications include small floor areas, tight spaces, balconies, garage floors, basements and pool decks. Requires separate rental of the concrete dust vacuum that collects what is removed, and a magnet roller to collect stray shot. The steel shot is available in 50 pound bags for purchase. TURBO DIAMOND GRINDER
The 9" Alpha grinder from Contec offers incredible diamond grinding capabilities for for almost any floor removal or prep project. While most floor machines spin at 175 RPM, the Alpha turns at 1680 RPM. The speed, along with the diamond inserts, make short work of almost any floor coating. It also works well to grind concrete. Depending on the type of diamond you select, the turbo grinder can produce a smooth or slightly rough surface if desired. This unit requires a concrete dust vaccum, which is rented separately. Users are charged per thousandth of an inch of diamond used, which can add a substantial amount to the cost. You can add these items in the next step.
